Stratford-upon-avon Sunday Night Netball - Week 2

The second week of action in the Stratford-upon-Avon Sunday  League netball season saw some thrilling results as teams battled it out on the court. This week’s games were a testament to the competitive spirit, strength, and dedication of the participating teams as they showcased their skill and sportsmanship.

In a dazzling display of netball proficiency, the Girls Of Glory clashed with the Rogue Angels, ending in a decisive 11-1 victory for the Girls Of Glory. Their unyielding defense and quick-footed attacks led to a high scoring game which left spectators on the edge of their seats.

However, the highlight of the week was the riveting encounter between Golden Eagles and Stratford Divas. The Divas pulled off an impressive performance, triumphing over Golden Eagles with a score of 20-10. Their dynamic gameplay and stunning shots contributed to a game that will be remembered for its adrenaline-fueled intensity.

The star of the week was, without a doubt, Stratford Divas’ own Carrie Dowding. With her exceptional skill and game sense, Dowding was awarded the title of the most valued player for this week. Her relentless energy and unyielding determination played a key role in her team’s stunning victory, solidifying her status as a player to watch this season.

As we move into the third week of the season, the teams are gearing up for more high-stakes games. Under the bright lights of the League, the competition is fierce, and the desire to win, palpable.
