In an exhilarating turn of events at last night's Netball league, week 9 saw some thrilling games unfold in the famed League division. The Wolverhampton Wednesday league left both spectators and players breathless with the level of competition on display.

One of the evening's stand-out matches was between Dancing With Wolves and Wolverines. In a heated contest, Wolverines showed their tenacity, finishing the night with a hard-fought draw against Winter Wonders, both teams ending the game 15-15.

Not to be outshone, the Wolfy Divas put on a stunning performance against Dancing With Wolves, securing a triumphant victory with a final score of 14-7. Their formidable opponents fought hard, but ultimately the Divas proved too strong on this occasion.

Elsewhere in the League, the Rebounders managed to edge out the Wildflowers in a nail-biting finish that ended 10-9, while Wanderlust and Wednesday Warriors battled to a 7-7 draw.

The star of the night was undoubtedly Wolverines' Theresa Patino, who was unanimously voted the most valued player of the week. Her incredible commitment and exceptional skills were evident throughout the evening, providing a masterclass in netball prowess for all to witness.

At this crucial stage of the season, every point counts. The top scorers for the League division have yet to be officially confirmed but based on last night's performances, it's clear that they've set a high bar for the rest of the teams.
