The Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League is back and if the second week is anything to go by, we’re in for one exciting season.

In a night of high-octane action, Wildflowers  played against Wanderlust with a final score of  15 - 4.
Elsewhere, Dancing with Wolves put on a show-stopping performance, against Wednesday Warriors with a score of  10 - 2 score.
One of the most nail-biting games of the night was between Rebounders and Winter Wonders. With both teams trading blows, Winter Wonders finally edged out an 8 - 12 victory. Wolfy divas played Wolverines but Wolfy Divas, managed to clinch a 9-6 win.

The night, however, belonged to Yvette Ashmore from the Rebounders who was named the most valued player of the week. Despite her team's loss, Ashmore's performance was nothing short of spectacular. Her agility, precision, and teamwork were a sight to behold, making her a worthy recipient of the accolade.

While all teams showed great sportsmanship and skill, it was the Wildflowers, Dancing with Wolves, Winter Wonders, and Wolfy Divas who emerged as the top scorers in the Premier League division. The bar has been set high and as we head into week 3, excitement is already building.

With the stakes higher and the competition fiercer, the Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League promises to continue delivering captivating matches worthy of Premier League status. Stay tuned for more thrilling Netball action!
