The floodlights were on, the crowd was roaring, and the netball stars took to the court for the second week of the Wolverhampton Wednesday  Netball league. The action was fast and furious with every team in the League giving their all, showcasing amazing talent and unparalleled teamwork.

In the  League division, the Wanderlust faced off against the Wildflowers in a tense game that ended 6-4 in favor of the Wildflowers. Dancing With Wolves clashed with Wednesday Warriors in a high-energy match, with the Warriors emerging as victors with a score of 7-5. Meanwhile, Violet Vixens demonstrated their prowess on the court, outscoring the Rebounders with a whopping 14-6.

However, the night belonged to the Wolverines and Wolfy Divas. The two powerhouse teams battled it out in the league's most anticipated match, with the Wolfy Divas edging out the Wolverines in a tightly contested match, 11-8.

The standout player this week was none other than Yvette Ashmore from the Rebounders. Despite her team's loss, Ashmore's extraordinary performance on the court not only earned her the title of the most valued player of the week but also won the hearts of the spectators.

As we approach week three of the season, the competition heats up. The top scorers' list is currently led by the Wolfy Divas from the  League division, followed closely behind by the Violet Vixens.
