Wolverhampton Sunday Night Netball - Week 8

The Wing-its faced off against the Thunder Thighs in a highly anticipated match. The Wing-its managed to secure a decisive victory, outscoring their opponents 20-9. The game served as a stage for Thunder Thighs' Millie Lower, who shone despite her team's defeat, earning the accolade of the most valuable player of the week.

In an equally intense face-off, Goal Diggers met their match against The Hotshots, the latter team edging out their rivals 17-12. The Diggers fought valiantly, but ultimately, The Hotshots' superior tactics and precise shooting proved to be the difference.

The Blaze Ballers and the Amazeballs provided another thrilling game, with the Amazeballs outperforming the Ballers with a score of 18-10. Despite their best efforts, Blaze Ballers could not match the intensity and agility demonstrated by the victorious Amazeballs.

Rounding off the evening, a nail-biting clash between Dolly Mixtures and Phoenix Flyers saw the Flyers clinch a narrow 12-7 victory. The game was a testament to the Phoenix Flyers' unyielding determination and strategic prowess.

As the season continues, the teams will be looking to build on their performances and inch closer to the coveted championship. With Millie Lower leading the way in terms of individual performances, the competition remains wide open as teams gear up for the next week's clashes.
