In arguably the most thrilling encounter of the week, Wing-its secured a nail-biting victory over Goal Diggers, edging them out by 17-16 in a fiercely contested match. Dominique Jackson of Wing-its, with her exceptional athleticism, proved pivotal to the game's outcome, earning the accolade of the week's Most Valued Player.
The Hotshots, living up to their name, made a fiery start to the season, securing a decisive 22-12 victory over Dolly Mixtures. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they outpaced and outscored their opponents.
Elsewhere, Amazeballs lived up to their pre-season hype by pulling off a solid 16-10 victory over Phoenix Flyers. Their relentless attacking approach kept the Flyers on their toes for much of the game, providing a clear signal of their intent this season.
Thunder Thighs also kicked off their campaign with a thumping 12-6 victory over Blaze Ballers. A fantastic defensive effort coupled with clinical netting saw them comfortably secure their first win of the season.
