Kicking off the season with a bang, Wing-its edged past Goal Diggers with a stunning 17-12 victory. Despite a fierce performance from the Goal Diggers, Wing-its demonstrated their superior tactics and execution, marking their territory in the freshly minted season.

However, the spotlight goes to The Hotshots who scored the highest points in the division, trouncing Dolly Mixtures with an astounding 25-5 win. Their exceptional teamwork and sharp shooting skills were on full display as they dominated the court, setting a high bar for the season.

Thunder Thighs also started their campaign on a high note, playing against Blaze Ballers 18-8. Their dynamic play and relentless defense kept the Blaze Ballers at bay throughout the game.

Despite a nail-biting contest, Amazeballs faced a narrow defeat against Phoenix Flyers, who eked out a 14-12 win. The Flyers' resilience and last-minute heroics ensured their triumph, making them a team to watch out for.

On an individual level, Shellbie Simmons of Dolly Mixtures was named the most valuable player of the week, proving that even in defeat, individual brilliance can shine through. Simmons' outstanding playmaking and leadership on the court caught everyone's eye, underscoring her pivotal role in the team.
