In a thrilling week 5 of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League, the division saw high stakes clashes that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
The Sky Shooters and Goals Aloud had an intense showdown. Goals Aloud demonstrated their quality with a 16-5 victory over the Sky Shooters. However, all was not lost for the Sky Shooters, as their star player Florence Christie was named the week's Most Valued Player.
The electrifying match-up between Queen Bees and the Stormers was equally captivating. Despite a spirited effort from the Queen Bees, the Stormers triumphed to a 16-4 win.
Goals Of Glory took on the Purple Thunder's this week and managed to achieve the win with a score of 23-5.
The game between Spice Goals and Hoop There It Is! ended in an exciting draw, with both teams scoring 5 goals each. Their equally matched defense and offense made for an interesting game that ended on a high note.
Last but definitely not least, Nets And The City showed their grit in a 12-4 win over Waseley Wizards, rounding out the week on a high note.
This week's games showcased not only the teams' competitive spirits but also their individual talents, with Florence Christie from Sky Shooters standing out as the MVP.
