Birmingham Tuesday Netball League 7th January

In a thrilling set of fixtures, week 17 of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League did not disappoint. The division was the scene of intense competition and high drama, with teams battling it out for vital points as the season continues to unfold.

The night was marked by the stunning performance from Waseley Wizards and Goals Aloud, which saw the latter get a decisive 15-6 victory. However, the real nail-biter was between Hoop Troops and Hoop There It Is!, with the former eking out a tense 8-5 win. We were kept on our toes throughout the match, reflecting the competitive spirit inherent in this league.

Elsewhere, Long Shots displayed their keen shooting skills against Purple Thunder, racking up an impressive 20-7 win. The standout player from the match, and indeed the whole week, was Lorna Gould from Long Shots. Her exceptional play proved instrumental in driving her team to victory and rightfully earned her the title of Most Valued Player.

Nets And The City didn't have it all their own way against Stormers, with a close-knit match ending 10-7 in favour of Stormers. Meanwhile, Spice Goals had a smashing victory against Sky Shooters, securing a 21-7 triumph.

Finally, a high-tension match between Goals Of Glory and Goal Diggers saw the former clinch a 14-13 victory in a hotly contested game.

This week’s results have set the stage for an intriguing next round of matches in the Birmingham Tuesday Netball League. With the teams vying for the top spot, we await with bated breath to see how the rest of the season unfolds.
