Birmingham Tuesday Netball League 25th February

As week 22 of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball league came to a thrilling close, the electrifying atmosphere was felt all across the League. The riveting matches that took place last night saw an array of spectacular gameplays that left everyone on the edge of their seats.

In the League, there was a fierce face-off between Hoop There It Is! and Goals Aloud, with Goals Aloud snatching a breath-taking victory with a score of 15-11. In another intense clash, Waseley Wizards were outplayed by Purple Thunder, falling 11-1 to their opponents.

The high voltage game between Hoop Troops and Stormers saw the latter emerge triumphant with an outstanding 20-8 win. Long Shots proved their mettle against Sky Shooters, wrapping up the game with a 16-2 scoreline. Nets And The City succumbed to Goal Diggers in a close-knit match of 15-7.

However, one of the highlight of the evening was the electrifying match between Spice Goals and Goals Of Glory. Spice Goals brought their A-game, storming the court with a staggering 25-9 victory. Not only did Goals of Glory put up a strong fight, but their player, Kate Gardiner, shone through as the most valued player of the week. Her exceptional performance on the court truly captured the essence of the league.

As the final week of the season wrapped up, it was Team: Stormers who clinched the Premier League division title. The team displayed exhilarating gameplay throughout the season, leading to a well-deserved win with a total of 38 points and 18 victories.

With the curtain falling on this season of the Birmingham Tuesday league, fans eagerly await the next season for more high-octane Netball action. The thrilling performances, the intense rivalries, and the indomitable spirit of the players will undoubtedly continue to enthrall us in the seasons to come.

The area manager will get in contact with all teams to confirm teams availability for the start of the new season starting next week on the 4th March.
