In the eighth week of the Birmingham Tuesday Netball league, the division witnessed riveting matches that left everyone involved on the edge of their seats. The scores witnessed were nothing short of exhilarating.
Goals Aloud delivered a stellar performance, leaving no room for question about their dominance. They won the fixture with a 21-1 result against Waseley Wizards.
In a similar vein, Purple Thunder exhibited their prowess against Long Shots 17-8.
The Nets And The City vs Stormers game was a close-run affair, ending 10-6 in favor of Nets And The City. In another cliff-hanger, Hoop Troops edged past Hoop There It Is! with a narrow win of 9-6.
However, the highlight of the week was the electrifying performance by Spice Goals, who registered a victory over Sky Shooters with a scoreline of 20-2.
Finally, in an epic showdown, Goals of Glory triumphed over Goal Diggers with a hard-fought victory of 18-13.
However, amongst all these high-octane matches, one player stood out from the rest – Lorna Gould from Long Shots. Despite her team's overall result, Gould's outstanding performance earned her the title of Most Valued Player of the week. Her display of skill, agility, and on-court leadership was a spectacle to behold.
