The Birmingham netball league showdown, entered its thrilling week 7 last night, with some pulsating encounters in the division.

The evening was filled with high-octane netball as Goal Diggers and Goals Aloud squared off, resulting in a fierce contest that ended in a 14-8 triumph for Goal Diggers. 

Similarly, Goals Of Glory gave a stunning performance, against Sky Shooters with a 15-3 victory. 

However, it was the clash of the evening between Spice Goals and Stormers that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Despite a spirited effort, Spice Goals were outshone by Stormers, who stormed to a 16-6 victory.

In one of the closest match-ups of the evening, Nets And The City suffered a narrow defeat against Purple Thunder, who clinched the game 4-3. The match showcased the skill, tenacity, and sportsmanship intrinsic to netball.

In another impressive display, Long Shots took the court by storm, defeating Hoop There It Is! 21-7. This was one of the highest-scoring games of the night, further elevating the excitement of the league.

Meanwhile, Hoop Troops showed their quality with a 17-2 victory over Waseley Wizards. Their outstanding performance secured their standing in the league.

The standout player of the week was, indisputably, Dawn Merrett from Hoop There It Is! Her exceptional skills and on-court leadership were instrumental in her team's performance and earned her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player of the week.
