Week 4 of the Redditch Tuesday neball league held at Tudor Grange Academy took place this week but netball took a back seat as Louise Grocutt from Ball Hoggers suffered an injury which resulted in hospital treatment. I have spoken to Louise today and she has suffered a couple of fractures to her ankle and ligament damage meaning that she will be off for 6/8 weeks. However, she is in excellent spirits and has told me that she is determined to prove the doctors wrong and be up and about in less than 4 weeks. Good luck Louise and we really hope to see you back at the league sooner rather than later...

The league itself saw Betty`s Comets extend their 100% record to 4 matches as they defeated Rebels 20-13 in a closely contested encounter which saw both teams giving their all thoughout the match.

Goal Divas secured their first victory of the campaign in the match of the evening as they gained a hard fought victory against a battling Tudors team. Both teams must be commended on their determination and commitment and it was a shame that 1  team had to lose.
