In the latest round of the Redditch Tuesday Social Netball League at Tudor Grange Academy, all teams once again showcased their competitive spirit and camaraderie. Despite the varying results, the evening was characterised by friendly competition and sportsmanship.
The matchup between The Tenacious 7 and Goal Divas stole the spotlight as it was a closely contested battle, with The Tenacious 7 emerging victorious with a narrow 13-12 win. Kate Bassett's outstanding performance earned her the Player of the Match award, demonstrating her pivotal role in securing the win for her team. The match could have swung either way, showcasing the competitive nature of the league.
Betty's Comets continued their dominant form with a 26-2 victory over Ball Hoggers. Danielle Rogers delivered a standout performance for Betty's Comets, earning her the Player of the Match accolade. Despite the scoreline, Ball Hoggers displayed commendable effort and resilience throughout the match against the reigning champions.
In another closely contested fixture, Redditch Rockets secured a hard-fought 13-8 victory over Rebels. The match showcased the evenly matched sides, with both teams putting up a strong fight. Demi James' stellar performance for Redditch Rockets earned her the Player of the Match recognition.
With four wins out of four matches, Betty's Comets maintained their position at the top of the division standings. Redditch Rockets closely trailed behind in second place, just two points behind the leaders.
