Redditch Tuesday Night Netball - Week 1

The Redditch Tuesday Netball League kicked off this week in an exhilarating display of athletic prowess. The night saw an impressive showcase of skill, with Jean Coleman of the Rebels emerging as the most valued player for the week.

In the season opener, Betty's Comets shot past the Redditch Rockets, netting 35 goals to the Rockets' four. The Tenacious 7 succumbed a 19-7 loss to the Ball Hoggers. We unfortunately did see an injury in this game. We wish Katie from The Tenacious 7, a speedy recover! 

However, the highlight of the evening was the clash between the Rebels and the Goal Divas. The Rebels emerged victorious with a score of 18-9, thanks to the exceptional performance of Jean Coleman. Coleman's game sense, agility, and scoring prowess earned her the title of most valued player for the week. 

This thrilling first week of the Redditch Tuesday Netball League promises a season filled with great competition and outstanding individual performances. Players eagerly anticipate the upcoming games to see how the season unfolds, and which team will rise to the top.
