Thrills and spills ensued last night as week 1 of the Redditch Tuesday, a Netball league, kicked off the season with high intensity games in the League.

In a series of fiercely contested matches, Betty's Comets soared to victory against the Redditch Rockets, scoring a dazzling 28-13 win. The Comets' success can be largely credited to the exceptional play of Debbie Regan, who was deservedly named the Most Valued Player of the week. 

The Tenacious 7 also proved their mettle, securing a 10-4 win against the Ball Hoggers. Despite the Hoggers putting up a valiant fight, The Tenacious 7 displayed superior teamwork and strategy, leaving their opponents trailing behind on the scoreboard.

In another nail-biter, the Rebels clinched a narrow victory against the Goal Divas, edging them out 19-16 in a match that had us all on the edge of our seats till the final whistle.

These opening matches have set a thrilling pace for the rest of the season. With scores like these, the Redditch Tuesday League promises to be a hotbed of competition. One thing is for sure - this season of the Redditch Tuesday is one to watch!
