The thrilling finale of the Redditch Tuesday League Netball season took a dramatic twist last night as the teams faced each other for one last showdown.
In an electrifying atmosphere, Betty's Comets soared to a staggering 29-5 victory over the Ball Hoggers, marking the end of the season with a spectacular win. This victory sealed their position at the top of the division with an impressive 20 points gathered over 10 consecutive wins. The Comets have truly left their mark on this league, boasting an impressive performance that set them apart from their competitors.
Their triumph was largely owed to their star player, Danielle Rogers, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week, a testament to her outstanding performance throughout the season.
In other riveting matches, Goal Divas outclassed The Tenacious 7 with a searing 28-9 score. Not to be outdone, the Rebels claimed their victory against Redditch Rockets with a wafer-thin margin, ending the game at 18-13.
While the other teams demonstrated commendable sportsmanship and skill, it was Betty's Comets that stole the limelight this season in the division. Their unwavering dedication and consistent performance have set a high bar for the teams in the coming season.
