Lightning-paced action dominated the court last night as the Swadlincote Wednesday netball league's sector wrapped up its seventh week of fiery competition. As the dust settled, new heroes emerged, teams solidified their ranks, and the league's most valued player was unveiled.
The division's match-ups saw intense play and impressive scores. The Shooting Stars put on a display against the Pink Ladies with a 7-4 win. It was a dramatic match, filled with stunning netball and teamwork.
In another clash of titans, Block And Shot achieved a great result as they played Hoops I Did It Again in an 11-2 triumph.
The Hoola Hoops added another victory to their tally, overcoming Hoopsie Daisy with a 6-2 win. However, the match's highlight was the exceptional performance of Hoopsie Daisy's Robyn Jackson, whose outstanding skills and leadership on the court earned her the accolade of the week's Most Valued Player.
Meanwhile, Get The Rebound showcased their offensive skills in a 17-1 triumph over the Wildcats.
Week 7 was a spectacle of skill, precision, and sportsmanship. As the season progresses, the division's teams continue to set the bar high, delivering exhilarating Netball action every Wednesday night. Next week promises even more thrills as the teams take to the court, vying for victories and the coveted MVP title.
