In an exhilarating week 10 of the Swadlincote Wednesday Netball league, the teams played with an intensity that left everyone on the edge of their seats. With the stakes higher than ever, each team showcased a stellar performance, manifesting in some of the most unforgettable games of the season.
In the League, the Wildcats faced off against Block And Shot in a match that was nothing short of intense. Despite their best efforts, the Wildcats were unable to keep up with Block And Shot, who swiftly secured a victory with a final score of 17-5.
The next match saw Hoopsie Daisy go head to head with Pink Ladies. It was a close call with both teams battling fiercely, but Hoopsie Daisy managed to clinch the win with a narrow margin of 9-4.
Meanwhile, Hoops I Did It Again found themselves against the Shooting Stars. Despite their commendable efforts, they fell short, losing 13-9.
However, the match of the day had to be Get The Rebound against The Hoola Hoops. In a back-and-forth, high scoring game, Get The Rebound emerged victorious with a narrow win of 19-16.
In addition to the team successes, individual talent shined on the court this week. The most valued player of the week was awarded to Jessica Platt from Pink Ladies. Despite her team's result, Platt showcased her exceptional skills and tenacity on the court, impressing both her peers and spectators alike.
