In an exciting week 5 of the Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League, the teams in the League division showed their mettle with some thrilling performances that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

The night was marked by fierce competition, with Block and Shot triumphing over Hoops I Did It Again in a decisive 9-3 victory. The former demonstrated impressive teamwork and accurate shooting, cementing their status as a force to be reckoned with.

Meanwhile, Shooting Stars outshone Pink Ladies, clinching a 12-4 victory. The stars truly aligned for this formidable team, with their swift passes and remarkable defensive play proving too much for the Pink Ladies to handle.

The Hoola Hoops and Hoopsie Daisy engaged in a closely fought contest, with the former edging out the latter in a 7-4 win. Both teams demonstrated commendable spirit and resilience, keeping everyone on their toes throughout the match.

In the most lopsided result of the week, Get The Rebound Managed a remarkable 21-1 triumph over Wildcats. 

The most valued player of the week was Amy Cassar from Hoopsie Daisy. Despite the team's result, Cassar’s stellar performance stood out, showcasing her exceptional skills and firm commitment to the game. Her agility, precision, and tenacity left a lasting impression, earning her this well-deserved recognition.
