Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League 19th February

The lights were shining bright last night on the Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League, entering its ninth week of intense competition. The Division showcased its finest teams and athletes in a series of gripping matches that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Block And Shot were pitted against Get The Rebound in an electrifying game that ended in a nail-biting 13-12 victory for Get The Rebound. This was nothing short of a high-octane match, with both teams displaying great skill and tenacity.

Shooting Stars and The Hoola Hoops also battled it out on the court, with The Hoola Hoops securing a 13-7 victory. Their win proved to be a testament to their relentless training and strategic gameplay.

In an equally riveting match, Pink Ladies managed to edge past Wildcats with a close score of 8-6, in what can only be described as a showcase of true grit and determination. Meanwhile, Hoops I Did It Again triumphed over Hoopsie Daisy with a score of 14-5, demonstrating a masterclass in teamwork and precision.

The highlight of the night, however, was the stellar performance of Holly Pickersgill from Block And Shot, who was crowned as the most valued player of the week. Her exceptional skill and commitment on the court earned her this well-deserved title, adding a silver lining to the team's razor-thin loss.
