Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League 16th April

In an adrenalin fueled week 3 of the Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League, the league witnessed some intense matches, with teams putting on an electrifying show of their prowess. The competition's spirit was high, with every player vying for the top spot.

In the first encounter, Pink Ladies and Hoopsie Daisy ended in a gripping 3-3 draw. A true testament to the evenly matched teams, the game was an edge-of-the-seat experience that had spectators breathless till the end. Despite fierce competition, neither team was able to secure a decisive win.

The second game, however, told a different tale. Block and Shot took on  Wildcats and managed to win 11-3. The Wildcats fought hard but were unable to break through the impeccable defense of Block and Shot.

One of the highlights of the evening was undoubtedly the game between Shooting Stars and Hoops I Did It Again. Shooting Stars, living up to their name, shone brightly on the court by scoring a whopping 18 goals against Hoops I Did It Again's 8. 

As we move closer to the season's conclusion, the Division’s high stakes games are making it clear that the competition is fiercer than ever. It was an unforgettable week in the Swadlincote Wednesday Netball League, promising more such exciting duels as we head into the next week.

The top scorers for the League were Shooting Stars with an impressive 18 goals, followed by Block and Shot with 11 goals.
