Swadlincote Netball league witnessed an exhilarating night of action-packed competition last night as week 5 of the season. The high-stakes games in the division saw an incredible display of stamina, skill, and strategy that has everyone eager for the next week's showdown.

In a thrilling encounter, Shooting Stars succumbed to a 3-9 loss against the formidable Hoops I Did It Again. The Pink Ladies also staged a nail-biting victory against Hoopsie Daisy, with the match ending at a close 6-5.

However, the highlight of the night was the clash between Block And Shot and Wildcats. In a particularly energetic matchup, Block And Shot emerged victorious with a scoreline of 13-3. This victory was facilitated by a standout performance from Paige Cousins, who was rightfully named the Most Valued Player of the week. 

The Hoola Hoops  had a match against Get The Rebound ended in a decisive victory for the latter, with a final score of 2-12. 

As the players regroup and strategize for the next round of games, the league's standings could still see some significant shifts. With Paige Cousins of Block and Shot setting the gold standard of performance, fans are waiting in anticipation to see who will rise to the occasion to challenge her supremacy.
