In an electrifying start to the new season of the Worcester Sunday 7-a-side Netball league, teams came out to make their mark. The week was packed with high-octane action.

Court Rebels demonstrated their prowess with a 17-4 victory over On The Attack. The Rebels' exquisite display of skill and teamwork earned them the top spot on the league table, setting the bar high for the rest of the season.

However, the Emeralds were not far behind in their scoring prowess, delivering an impressive 17-6 defeat to the Rebounders. The thrilling match-up had spectators at the edge of their seats as the Emeralds maintained a consistent scoring streak, proving why they are considered top contenders for the title.

Meanwhile, the Cobras and Spice Goals battled it out in a nerve-wracking showdown. Eventually, Spice Goals emerged victorious with a 10-6 scoreline. Despite the loss, the Cobras showed promise, with their star player, Helen Stavert, shining brightly on the court. Stavert's exceptional performance earned her the title of the most valued player of the week, a well-deserved accolade given her significant contribution to the team's efforts.

The week's largest scoring margin was seen in the fiercely contested match between Toxic Goals and Rockets. The Rockets received a victory with an 24-4 win.
