Gloucester Wednesday Social Netball Update 24th April

In the latest fixtures of the Gloucester Wednesday Social Netball League at The Crypt School, all teams gathered once again for an evening of friendly competition and camaraderie. The matches were characterised by a positive atmosphere, and the league was delighted to welcome a couple of new players, adding to the sense of community.

The first match of the evening saw High Hoops face off against Hoop Hustlers, with the latter emerging victorious with a score of 17-4. Despite the result, Kelsey Webb from High Hoops demonstrated determination and resilience throughout the match.

Footy Mums took on Flaming Divas in a closely contested encounter, with Flaming Divas securing a narrow 4-2 victory. Nicola Samuel from Footy Mums put in a commendable performance, earning her the Player of the Match accolade for her team. The match was described as fun, friendly, and entertaining, showcasing the spirit of the league.

The Glostars faced Shooters in another competitive match, with Shooters emerging victorious with an 11-6 win. Despite the scoreline, the match was closely contested, and both teams displayed excellent sportsmanship. Tracey Bergonzi was awarded the Player of the Match for The Glostars for her standout performance.

In the final match of the evening, Gloucester Vipers secured their first victory of the campaign with a 5-0 win. The win marked an important milestone for Gloucester Vipers and highlighted the progress they have made throughout the season.
