Tewkesbury Sunday Netball League 9th February
In the second week of the thrilling Tewkesbury Sunday Netball League, tensions and competitive spirits rose amongst the talented teams of the division. We were all treated to a nail-biting, adrenaline-pumping evening of high-quality netball, with scores that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
Voulez-Vous and Super Troupers delivered an unbelievable performance resulting in a gripping 10 - 10 draw. Both teams showcased impressive offensive and defensive skills, refusing to let the other gain an upper hand. Their dedication and relentless pursuit of victory was a testament to the competitive spirit of the division.
The other match of the night saw Dancing Queens take on Slipping Through Our Fingers. DQ secured a decisive victory with a fantastic score of 12 - 6, proving their mettle on the court and adding an exciting chapter to their ongoing rivalry. The atmosphere was electric as Dancing Queens carved out their win with strategic gameplay and impressive teamwork.
But the highlight of the evening was the exceptional performance by Alex Taylor from Gimme! The Ball. Recognized as the most valued player of the week, Taylor's agile moves and precise shots were a sight to behold. His contribution to the team was undeniable, strengthening their standing in the league.
