A week of pulsating action concluded on Sunday as the Tewkesbury Sunday Netball League entered its third week of competition. The League witnessed some high-intensity matches, with teams exhibiting exceptional sportsmanship and skills on the court. 

In the most exciting fixture of the week, Slipping Through Our Fingers bested Voulez-Vous in a head-to-head, edge-of-your-seat match, ending with a score of 14-9. The match was a display of seamless coordination and exemplary teamwork, with every goal pushing spectators to the edge of their seats.

In another nail-biting encounter, Gimme! The Ball managed to edge past Dancing Queens with a marginal victory of 11-9. The match was a testament to the competitive spirit and growing prowess of the teams in the League.

However, the shining star of the week was undoubtedly Ellie Watts from the Dancing Queens, who was named the Most Valued Player. Despite being on the losing side, Watts displayed extraordinary skill, leadership and determination throughout the match that set her apart.

We look forward to the next thrilling round of matches, and with the teams demonstrating such a high level of competition, the remainder of the season promises to be an absolute treat for all netball enthusiasts.
