Tewkesbury Sunday League Update 11th August

The Tewkesbury Sunday Netball League, in its third week, saw a pulsating round of games last night. Each team brought their A-game, demonstrating flawless skill, unstinting effort, and pure passion for the sport of netball.

In a nerve-racking showdown, team Chiquitita's edged out the Dancing Queens with a close finish, scoring 14-12. The match was a nail-biting experience as both teams displayed spectacular defence and attack. The Chiquitita's proved their mettle, holding their nerve in the face of relentless pressure from the Dancing Queens.

Meanwhile, in another spirited encounter, Gimme! The Ball triumphed over Name Of The Game, with a scoreline of 9-3. Despite the determined efforts from Name Of The Game, Gimme! The Ball's superior tactics and coordination helped them secure a comfortable victory.

The league's standout performance of the night came from the Super Troupers, who showcased a masterclass in netball, overpowering Slipping Through Our Fingers with a commendable 25-11 victory. Super Troupers' sublime attacking prowess made them the top scorers this week.

As the Tewkesbury Sunday Netball League moves into its fourth week, the competition heats up. The teams' relentless performances continue to raise the bar, making the league a thrilling spectacle for all sports enthusiasts.
