Stratford-upon-avon Sunday Night Netball - Week 5

In a thrilling display of skill and strategy, the week 5 of Stratford-upon-Avon Sunday Night Netball league ended on an exhilarating note, with some teams emerging triumphant and others vowing to bounce back stronger.

Before we go on to celebrate the 3 great games we saw last night, I would like to remind all players the umpires say is final, this includes ruling in the game, and nails and jewellery. Please respect their decisions.

The Court Queens and Stratford Divas locked horns on the court, with the Queens managing to clinch a victory with a 15-11 score line.  Meanwhile, the Girls of Glory squared off against the Golden Eagles, with the former securing a victory, scoring a 30 points to Golden Eagles' 10.  However, amidst the fierce competition, one player stood out from the rest. Kelsey Wilson of Golden Eagles, despite her team's loss, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the week. We also saw another great friendly match up with Rouge Angels, another fantastic game.

As we look forward to the upcoming matches, the top scorers for the Premier League are set to face off in what promises to be a nail-biting, adrenaline-filled showdown.

This week’s results have indeed set the stage for an intriguing next round of games. The teams are gearing up and are focused on earning those crucial points as we inch closer to the season finale. Stay tuned for more updates!
