Walsall Sunday Social Netball Update 7th April

In the latest fixtures of the Walsall Sunday Social Netball League held at St Francis Of Assisi, teams came together once again for an afternoon of friendly competition and sportsmanship. 

In a closely contested match, Hoops secured a narrow 13-10 victory over High Hoops. Michelle Hoban from High Hoops demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, earning her the Player of the Match award despite the loss.

Sutton Ballers showcased their attacking skills on the court with a 14-4 win against Saddlers, displaying strong offensive play and teamwork throughout the match.

Allstars demonstrated their prowess with a convincing 13-6 victory over Shooters, showcasing their offensive capabilities and strategic play.

In another closely contested match, Flaming Divas emerged victorious with an 11-8 win over Time To Shine. Chelsea Collins from Time To Shine was recognised as the Player of the Match for her outstanding performance despite the loss.

Despite suffering losses this week, both Time To Shine and Shooters remain at the top of the table with 17 points each. However, Sutton Ballers have closed the gap and are now within 1 point of the leaders after their impressive result this week.

As the season progresses, the competition remains close, with teams continuing to showcase their skills and determination on the court. With several matches still to be played, the race for the top spots promises to be thrilling and closely contested in the weeks to come. The league continues to provide an enjoyable platform for players to come together and participate in the sport they love, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among all participants.
