Walsall Sunday Social Netball Update 10th March

In the latest Walsall Sunday Netball Social League held at St Francis Of Assisi School, the competitive spirit and sportsmanship were once again on full display as all teams gathered for another round of matches. With seamless operations and matches played in great spirit, the evening's results showcased the closely contested nature of the league:

The only sour point of the evening was a couple of ladies thought it was acceptable to give the umpires a couple of dirty looks when they were giving decisions. This will not be tolerated and although no action was taken this week, their behaviour will be monitored and the players concerned will be taken out of the league if they continue to give unacceptable gestures to whilst playeing

The league itself saw Flaming Divas and Hoops engaged in a tight battle, with Hoops narrowly edging out a 8-7 victory. The close scoreline reflected the intensity and competitiveness of the matchup.

Time To Shine secured a hard-fought 13-8 victory over Sutton Ballers, showcasing their determination and skill on the court.

Allstars and High Hoops battled to a thrilling 4-4 draw, resulting in a closely fought contest that was hailed as the Match of the Night. Nikki McBride's standout performance earned her the Player of the Match title for her contributions to Allstars' performance.

In another closely contested match, Shooters faced Saddlers, ultimately falling short with a scoreline of 4-8.

With Time To Shine's victory, they joined Shooters at the top of the league standings with 13 points each, as Shooters suffered a loss this week. The competitive nature of the league promises more exciting matchups and intense battles as the season progresses.
