Walsall Sunday Netball 28th January

The Walsall Sunday social netball league saw week 3 take place this week and another good evening was had by all.

The first match of the evening saw Shooters stay true to their name as they scored 25 goals in their match against High Hoops. High Hoops showed incredible determination as they gave 100% but could only score 8 in response as Paige Hinton shone for Shooters.

Second match of the night saw Flaming Divas take the points against Saddlers with a fine 15 -4 victory and moved themselves 4th place. Unfortunatel;y Saddlers suffered their 3rd loss but are showing great improvement on a week to week basis and it won`t be long until they register their first victory.

Time To Shine moved into 3rd place after their defence gave an incredible performace managing to keep a clean sheet in their match against Hoops. Rachel Jarvis was the inspirational player for Time To Shine as she commanded the play throughout the match to get the Most Valuable Player accolade.

Match of the night was an end to end encounter between Allstars and Sutton Ballers with both teams producing excellent passages of play throught the match. Sophie Paoloni led Sutton Ballers with a fine Player Of The Match display but they eventually went down to a 11-7 scoreline as Allstars maintained their 100% display.
