Aldridge Social Sunday - Update.

It was a warm evening in the Aldridge Social Netball on Sunday evening, with a stuffy sports hall and an available court outside, the caretaker was quick to offer us the outside alternative and the umpires made an on the hoof decision and decided to take advantage of the nice weather and an outdoor breeze!

I would like to politely remind all players and teams that the umpires are there to enjoy their evening in equal measure as all teams and players do. Therefore it is not acceptable for players/teams to give any back chat towards our umpires whether they feel a decision is correct or incorrect. We all want to enjoy our evening and we need to maintain the fun, friendly nature of the league to allow us to continue the enjoyment each and every week.

Match Report

We saw some intense competition, jaw-dropping plays, and a stunning MVP performance.

The Flaming Divas and Hoops ignited the court with an adrenaline-fueled game. Despite the fierce competition, the Divas secured a narrow victory with a score of 16-13. The star player of the match, and of the week, was none other than Sarah Jeffries from the Flaming Divas. Jeffries displayed superior skill and leadership, contributing greatly to the Divas' victory.

Meanwhile, a closely fought game between Time To Shine and Sutton Ballers also kept fans on their toes. It ended with the Sutton Ballers snatching a win with a scoreline of 15-13, a testament to their tenacity.

The Allstars shone brightly against High Hoops, triumphing with a score of 12-4. Their exceptional teamwork and tactical play left their opponents trailing in their wake.

The Goal Getters and Saddlers faced off in a gripping match, with the Goal Getters ultimately edging out a 15-11 win. Their scoring success was a result of their excellent on-court communication and accurate shooting.
