In a riveting week of the Walsall Sunday social Netball League, we witnessed a series of versatile performances from all participating teams. The high stakes, coupled with the undeniable talent of the players, resulted in a memorable week of netball.
The Goal Getters emerged victorious against High Hoops with a crushing 13-3 win. Meanwhile, Flaming Divas displayed their stellar skills with a fine 12-2 victory over Saddlers.
However, it was the Time To Shine team that stole the spotlight this week. They gained a victory with an impressive 22-5 scoreline. On the other hand, the match between Allstars and Sutton Ballers ended in a tight finish, with Allstars securing a narrow win with a scoreline of 9-7 in the match of the evening. The result could have gone either way as the match was end to end throughout.
Despite the defeat, Hoops had a reason to cheer as their star player, Jo Lewis, was named the Most Valued Player of the week.
