Shrewsbury Sunday Night Netball League 27th October

In a thrilling conclusion to the Shrewsbury Sunday Netball League, team Shrew D'you Think You Are? emerged victorious, claiming the title in the League. The final week of the season proved nothing short of sensational, with each match infused with a sense of anticipation and high stakes.

The week 14 showdown was marked by a highly competitive match between Bear Steppers and Severn Sisters, ending with a 11-5 victory for Bear Steppers. 

Despite their fierce performance, it was Shrew D'you Think You Are? who ultimately clinched the title in the division. These players proved their mettle throughout the season, racking up an impressive total of 20 points and 9 wins.

Amidst the team victories, there was one player who stood head and shoulders above the rest. Lou Worthington from Shrew D'you Think You Are? was named the Most Valued Player. Her athletic prowess, precision, and indomitable spirit have made her a favourite and a symbol of excellence in the league.

As we close the curtains on this season, the Shrewsbury Sunday Netball League has once again been a brilliant display of talent, sportsmanship, and thrilling competition. While the teams may leave the court, the echoes of their triumphs will remain, serving as a reminder of the power, passion, and glory of the game. Each team and each player has contributed to a season that will be remembered for its intensity, high skill level, and the shared love for this wonderful sport.
