In the heart of Shrewsbury, under the gleaming Sunday night lights, the second week of the thrilling Netball season unfolded with a flurry of high-octane action. The division, considered the crème de la crème of Shrewsbury netball, witnessed some nail-biting encounters that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

The evening's proceedings kicked off with Bear Steppers narrowly edging past Quarry Queens in a thrilling encounter that ended 7-6 in favour of the Steppers. Displaying a harmonious blend of tactical astuteness and physical prowess, the Steppers' victory set the tone for the rest of the night.

The second match of the division featured Snooze You Shrews against Shrew D'you Think You Are?. Living up to all pre-match hype, the game was a see-saw battle with both teams displaying immense grit and determination. However, it was the Shrews who had the last laugh, outscoring their opponents 9-5 to secure a crucial victory.

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the performance of Polly Williams from Severn Sisters. With her mesmerising skills, sheer agility, and dead-eye accuracy, Williams stole the show and was deservedly crowned the 'Most Valued Player' of the week. 

As the league progresses, the competition gets more intense. The fight for the top spot is heating up, and each team is giving it their all to claim the coveted title. With the quality of netball on display, one thing is for sure - we are all in for a treat in the coming weeks.
