A thrilling kick-off to the Shrewsbury Sunday Netball League took place Sunday night, marking the onset of a high-spirited season in Shrewsbury's most coveted sports arena. The league's top-tier division, the league, saw an electrifying display of athleticism, strategy, and teamwork.

In one of the much-anticipated match-ups, Snooze You Shrews clashed with Bear Steppers, with the former dominating the court in a 14-2 victory. 

Meanwhile, Darwin's Crew, outshone Shrew D'you Think You Are? in a 10-2 triumph. The team's most valued player, Kelly Kesterton, put forth a stunning performance, contributing significantly to the victory. Kesterton's remarkable skills and leadership on the court solidified her standing as this week's most valued player.

Another spectacle of the night was the face-off between Severn Sisters and Quarry Queens. The Queens emerged victorious in a nail-biting showdown that ended with a score of 7-2.
