In an exhilarating ninth week of the Shrewsbury Sunday Netball League, teams from the League division battled it out on the court in a show of agility, teamwork, and raw talent.

The evening witnessed an electrifying match between Quarry Queens and Bear Steppers. The Bear Steppers, true to their name, made steady and powerful strides throughout the game, ultimately triumphing with a 13-6 victory over the Quarry Queens. 

In another tense face-off of the evening, Shrew D'you Think You Are? narrowly edged out Snooze You Shrews in a fiercely contested match. Demonstrating exceptional team spirit and determination, Shrew D'you Think You Are? managed to secure a slim win with a final score of 9-7, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

However, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly the exceptional performance by Jennifer Boskett of the Severn Sisters. Boskett's display of skill, agility, and strategic vision earned her the title of the most valued player of the week. Her ability to read the game and make decisive plays was instrumental in her team's performance, earning her well-deserved recognition and admiration.

As we look forward to the remaining games of the season, the division promises more high-stakes matches, outstanding individual performances, and the unyielding drive of players such as Jennifer Boskett.

The scoreboard is lit up with the star performers of each division, with Boskett leading the way. But as the season progresses, there's everything to play for, and we can expect more thrilling games in the weeks to come.
