The first match saw The Original Lions putting up a fierce fight against Phoenix Reds, in what could be described as a thrilling encounter that had spectators on the edge of their seats. Despite a valiant effort from The Lions, the Phoenix Reds emerged victorious with a final score of 13-10.

Meanwhile, Rugeley Warriors demonstrated their strength in their match against Rockets, securing a decisive 10-2 victory. The Warriors' precise passes and impressive shooting accuracy left the Rockets with little room to retaliate.

However, the real highlight of the week was the match between the Rugeley Rebels and Rugeley Rangers. Despite the Rebels' best efforts, the Rangers dominated the court with a stunning 33-5 victory, setting the bar high for the rest of the season.

The standout player of the week was undoubtedly Jamie-leigh Taylor-strange from the Rugeley Rebels. Even in the face of defeat, her exceptional performance and relentless spirit shone brightly, earning her the title of the Most Valued Player.

The season has only just begun, and it already promises high-energy matches, fierce competition, and stellar performances. As the teams prepare for the forthcoming games, they carry with them the lessons from week one, all set to up their game and climb to the top of the  League division.
