Sky Shooters and Jammy Dodgers started the evening in a nail-biting encounter. Despite a valiant effort, Sky Shooters were defeated by Jammy Dodgers, ending the game with a close 5-3 score line. Sky Shooter’s Jemima Collins, however, was a silver lining in her team's loss, putting up a stellar performance that earned her the title of the most valued player of the week.
In another electrifying match from the league, Queen Bees played against Let's Wing It, but fell behind. let's Wing it emerged victorious with a lead of seven points, ending the game at a 20-13 score line.
With the season just setting sail, these initial games have set the pace for an enticing league run. The top scorers of the league, Jammy Dodgers and Let's Wing It, have already left an indelible mark on the scoreboard and are expected to maintain their momentum as the season progresses.
