The Sutton Coldfield Sunday Netball League continued this past week with an exciting round of matches in the League. This Netball league, now in its third week, is already turning heads and creating waves.
In a thrilling encounter, Tigers clawed their way to the top, narrowly defeating Boldmere Ballers 12-11. The energy on the court was electric as both teams fought hard to secure the win. But it was the Tigers who managed to pull through in the end, showing their resilience and team spirit.
Despite their loss, Boldmere Ballers had their own shining star, Anna O’Malley, who was named the most valued player of the week. Her performance was a masterclass in netball prowess, her agility and precision on court earning her well-deserved recognition.
Elsewhere in the division, Wildcats dominated over Leopards with a smashing 27-5 victory, while Court Crackers served Jaguars a bitter defeat with a 16-3 win. In the last game of the division, High Hoops outscored Hoop There It Is, netting 25 points to their 7.
Whilst the victory margin varied across the board, the drive and commitment from all teams were incredibly evident. The League has continued to provide a hotbed of talent and competition, making the Sutton Coldfield Sunday Netball league a must-watch event for all sports enthusiasts.
