In the latest fixtures of the Pershore Wednesday Social Netball League held at Pershore High School, all teams showcased their skills and sportsmanship in a friendly and competitive environment.
Although the current season is coming to a close, with the last matches of the season taking place next week, anticipation is high for the start of the new season scheduled to begin the week after on April 17th.
Pershore Pivots and Divas engaged in a thrilling contest, with Pivots emerging victorious with a 13-10 win. This match was highlighted as the Match of the Night, with Mary Clifton from Pivots earning the Player of the Match award for her outstanding performance on the court.
Hoopers secured a solid 11-6 victory over Winging It, demonstrating their teamwork and determination throughout the match.
Pershore Panthers gave an outstanding performance on the court, securing a commanding 22-2 win against Shooters. Their cohesive play and strategic execution led to a decisive victory.
In a competitive match, Killer Queens emerged triumphant with a 16-7 win over Court Queens. Corah Marshall from Court Queens was recognised as the Player of the Match for her stellar performance.
As the season draws to a close, Pershore Panthers currently lead the standings, holding a 2-point advantage at the top of the table. Their consistent performance and teamwork have been instrumental in their success throughout the season.
