Pershore Wednesday Social Netball Update 13th March

In the latest installment of the Pershore Wednesday Social Netball League at Pershore High School, the spirit of competition and camaraderie was palpable as all teams once again took to the court.

Unfortunately, Caitlyn from Killer Queens suffered a fracture to her foot as she fell awkwardly in attempting to take a catch. We would like to wish her a speedy and full recovery and hope to see her playing again in the very near future.

Pershore Panthers asserted their dominance with a 20-2 victory over Court Queens, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive strength.

Hooper's and Killer Queens engaged in a closely contested battle, with Killer Queens emerging victorious with a 15-11 win. The match demonstrated the competitive spirit and determination of both teams.

In a surprising upset, Winging It handed Pershore Pivots their first loss of the campaign with a 10-7 victory. Despite the loss, Pershore Pivots maintained their position at the top of the table, leading by two points from Pershore Panthers.

Diva's displayed their skill and teamwork, securing a 15-8 victory over Shooters. Nina McKeever from Shooters was recognised as the Player of the Match for her standout performance.

As the season progresses, the Pershore Wednesday Netball League promises more thrilling matchups and opportunities for teams to showcase their talent and determination. With Pershore Pivots still leading the table despite their first loss, the competition remains fierce, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion to the season.
