In an electrifying week 3 of the Pershore Wednesday Netball league, the League saw some intense clashes, reflecting the high competitive spirit of the participating teams.
The most thrilling encounter in the League was undoubtedly between Pershore Pic N Mix and Pivots. Despite a hard-fought battle, Pershore Pic N Mix fell to Pivots with a scoreline of 6-19. However, the silver lining for Pershore Pic N Mix was the exceptional performance by Kelly Catchpole, who was deservedly awarded the Most Valued Player of the week. Her agility and precision were on full display, proving a silver lining even in defeat for Pershore Pic N Mix.
Meanwhile, Pocket Rockets faced a similar fate, losing 7-16 to Killer Queens in a high-stakes match. Killer Queens used their strategic prowess to dismantle the defence of Pocket Rockets, securing victory that pushed them further up in the league standings.
In contrast, Diva's added another feather to their cap with a 13-8 triumph over Hooper's.
As we move onto the next week, the teams will be looking to reassess their strategies and come back stronger. The League is heating up, and the thrill of competition is only set to intensify. The stage is set for some more high-octane Netball action in the weeks to come.
