Pershore Wednesday Netball 24th January

The Pershore Wednesday social netball league saw week 3 take place this week and another good evening was had by all.

We had a new team join the league this week called Killer Queens. They replaced a team in the league and they started their campaign with a close fought 9 - 4 victory over Hooper`s. Amie Marks from Hooper`s showed her skill set as she was awarded the most valuable player in the match despite their loss this week.

Pershore Pivots once again proved hard to stop as they recorded a 16 -2 victory over Winging It and extend their 100% start to the season.

Match of the evening took place between Diva`s and Shooters with Nina Mckeever in outstanding form for Shooters but it wasn`t enough as they eventually went down to a 4 - 8 defeat. The victory for Diva`s meant they overtook Shooters on the league table and moved into 4th place.

The remaining match this week saw Pershore Panthers take the victory with a 19 - 6 scoreline against Court Queens as they put together some outstanding offensive moves to move up to third in the league.

We are still looking for individual players for this league, so if you are interested please register your details online or get in contact by calling 01926 674440
