The Telford Tuesday Netball league ignited with sparks last night as the first week of the season commenced, and the scores are as thrilling as ever in the division.

The first match witnessed the fiery encounter between Nets Get Physical and Swift Shooters, with the former dominating the court with a score of 11-5. Nets Get Physical displayed robust teamwork and accuracy, setting a high bar for the rest of the season.

The Goal Getters and Hoop Hustlers clashed in a nail-biting contest, with Goal Getters eventually edging out with an 11-9 victory. This match was a true testament to the fierce competition this season is poised to offer.

The Just Wing It squad soared high above the Net Seekers, clinching an 8-1 win. Notably, with their speed and strategic play, they’re a team everyone should keep an eye on moving forward.

However, the shock of the night came when the Jammie Dodgers trounced She's A Keeper with a commanding 14-5 win. Proving that they're not just here to participate, they are here to conquer.

Despite the result, She’s A Keeper's Jane Frost shone brightly, earning herself the Most Valued Player for the week. Her performance was a silver lining for her team and her agility and skills have set a benchmark for other players to match up to.

As we enter a new season of the Telford Tuesday Netball league, it's a refreshing sight to see all teams coming out with such enthusiasm and determination.
