The Burntwood Wednesday Netball League, held its eighth week of thrilling netball action last night, with teams displaying some exceptional athletic prowess and strategic manoeuvres.

Lightening Strikers showcased their skill with an 18-9 victory over the formidable Black Widows. Kiss My Pass didn’t lag far behind, with a commanding 19-6 win against Netball Ninjas. However, the most riveting match of the night was between Pocket Rockets and Hoop There It Is, with the final score landing on 23-6 to Pocket Rockets. Hoop For The Best triumphed over The Pink Ladies 19-11, and Bloxwich Beaters stole the win from Hoop Dogz with a final score of 15-10. The final match of the night saw Burntwood Stars defeat Chasers 15-8, wrapping up an exhilarating week of netball action.
Taking the spotlight from the team victories was the week's most valued player, Nik Andrews from Black Widows. Despite the team's loss, Andrews stood out with their exceptional performance.
As the season progresses, the intensity of the competition is sure to rise, promising more thrilling matches in the coming weeks.
