Burntwood Wednesday Night Netball - Week 6

In the exciting world of local Netball, week six of the Burntwood Wednesday League saw a host of thrilling matches. The league, known for its high standards of play and competitive spirit, delivered another week of intense competition and standout performances.

Sista Squad edged out Chasers in a fiercely contested match with a scoreline of 13-11, leaving spectators on tenterhooks until the final whistle. Demonstrating exceptional skills and a strong team performance, Burntwood Stars dominated the court with a convincing 20-6 victory against Hoop Dogz.

Bloxwich Beaters and Hoop For The Best clashed in a riveting match, with Bloxwich Beaters seizing the day with a decisive 17-7 victory. The Pink Ladies faced a tough challenge against Hoop There It Is, with the latter team securing a win with an 11-3 score. In another close and nerve-racking match, Kiss My Pass managed to surpass Pocket Rockets by a score of 16-13. Lastly, Lightening Strikers showed their prowess with an impressive victory over Netball Ninjas, ending the match with a score of 11-4.

The standout player of the week was undoubtedly Amber Smalley from Pocket Rockets. Despite her team's narrow loss, her performance on the court was nothing short of phenomenal, earning her the coveted title of the week's Most Valued Player.

As we move into week seven of the Burntwood Wednesday League, all eyes will be on these teams as they continue their battle for supremacy in the League division. Netball fans can look forward to another week of top-notch performances, strategic plays, and nail-biting finishes.
