Burntwood Wednesday Night Netball - Week 3
In Division 1, the Lightening Strikers lived up to their name by lighting up the scoreboard with a resounding 20-11 victory over the aggressive Bloxwich Beaters. Their star player, Helen Jenkins, was hailed as the most valued player of the week. Jenkins showcased an exceptional display of agility, precision, and technique, propelling the Strikers to triumph.
In the other matches of Division 1, the Sista Squad flexed their tactical prowess, outplaying Kiss My Pass with an impressive 18-6 score. On a similar note, Burntwood Stars outshone Chasers with a massive 25-7 win.
Meanwhile, in Division 2, the Pocket Rockets narrowly edged past Hoop Dogz with an 11-9 victory. The Netball Ninjas managed to sneak past The Pink Ladies with a strong 13-2 win, demonstrating their climbing prowess in the league. The week's biggest victory, however, was achieved by the Swamp Donkeys, who overwhelmingly outperformed Hoop There It Is with a colossal 28-3 win.
In terms of top scorers, the formidable Lightening Strikers led the charts in Division 1, while the Swamp Donkeys dominated Division 2 with their awe-inspiring performance.
As the league progresses, the excitement continues to build, with fans and players alike eagerly anticipating what the next round of the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League has in store.
