As the evening fell yesterday, the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League's second week of action unfolded, providing a spectacle of sportsmanship, strategy, and fierce competition.

In Division 1, Burntwood Beaters dominated the court, amassing an impressive 18-4 victory over Lightening Strikers. The Beaters showed their prowess and determination, taking advantage of every opportunity to score. However, it was the head-to-head battle between Kiss My Pass and Pocket Rockets that stole the show, with Kiss My Pass emerging victorious with a 21-12 score. Swamp Donkeys also had a thrilling victory over Sista Squad with a score of 22-8, showcasing their exceptional offensive skills.

Over in Division 2, the competition was just as intense. Netball Ninjas pulled out a stunning 14-8 win against Hoop There It Is. Hard on their heels, Shot Callers forged ahead with an 18-8 triumph over Hoop Dogz. Meanwhile, The Pink Ladies edged out a narrow victory over We Shot This, ending with a score of 8-6, proving that in this sport, every point counts.

Amid the hustle and excitement, one player stood out from the crowd. Emily Harris from Pocket Rockets was declared the most valued player of the week, showing an exceptional performance that exemplified skill, teamwork, and unparalleled determination.
