The feverish tension of the Burntwood Wednesday Netball league hit new heights as we moved into the climactic week 14, with every team in the League bringing their A-game to the court.

The Sista Squad displayed an impressive show of skill and teamwork, defeating Pocket Rockets with a whopping 14-4 lead. The Pink Ladies did not disappoint either, edging out Netball Ninjas in a nail-biting 8-6 win. Bloxwich Beaters made a remarkable comeback, securing a 15-14 victory over Lightening Strikers in an end-to-end contest that saw both sides pushing each other to their limits.

Perhaps the most thrilling encounter of the evening was between the Burntwood Stars and Kiss My Pass, where both teams put up a fierce fight, resulting in a neck-and-neck score of 19-19. The Chasers also proved their prowess on the court, racing past Hoop There It Is with an impressive 20-10 lead.

Hoop Dogz, unfortunately, could not withstand the onslaught of Hoop For The Best and had to concede a 1-15 defeat. But as they say, it's not about winning or losing, it's about how you play the game.

The week's most valued player award went to the unstoppable Tilly Gilbert from Chasers. Her extraordinary performance was instrumental in leading her team to a resounding victory, and she continues to be a standout player in the League.
