In an exciting match, Kiss My Pass suffered a defeat at the hands of Black Widows, with the scoreboard reading 14-9. Lightening Strikers lived up to their name by blitzing past Hoop There It Is by a massive 22-2 score. Elsewhere, Hoop For The Best danced past Netball Ninjas with a score of 13-7.
In a closely fought encounter, Pocket Rockets managed to edge past Hoop Dogz, clinching the match 6-5. Chasers, on the other hand, comfortably outplayed The Pink Ladies scoring 10-3. To conclude the evening, Burntwood Stars shone bright defeating Bloxwich Beaters by a commendable 15-7.
The final week of the season was not just about teams; it was also about individual brilliance. Sarah Hawthorne, a key player for Chasers, stood out from the rest and was rightly adjudged the Most Valued Player of the week. Her spectacular performance on the field caught everyone's eye and played a pivotal role in her team's crucial win over The Pink Ladies.
As the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League draws to a close, the League division displayed some electrifying performances. The season ended on a high note, leaving the spectators eagerly waiting for the next season's magic to unfold.
